canada house @ SXSWCanada House at SXSW 2018 was one of the more exciting projects I worked on while at the City Hall Music Office. My team and I were in charge of the Austin-Toronto Alliance booking and promotion.

toronto music safety summitThe Toronto Music Event Safety Summit is an event started by myself, Mike Tanner, and Cameron Kennedy to promote safer events at existing venues and DIY spaces. All organization and promotion was done in house. The event was so successful it is now an annual event for the Music Office.

YYZ liveMy team and I worked tirelessly to organize, actualize, and promote this two and a half month concert series. YYZ Live promoted the diverse music culture Toronto holds, while giving emerging artists a chance to play for international audiences they would otherwise have trouble reaching.
As a result, this program has received an outstanding amount of press coverage- and Mayor John Tory even came out to kick off this season's sets. |
beyond the coreBeyond the Core was a live music event and panel created, organized, and promoted by my team and I to promote music culture outside of Toronto's downtown. This event was an immense success, and even gained the co-sponsorship of Wavelength Music and SOCAN.
